Economist-in-Residence

The Lazaridis School’s Economist-in-Residence is an annual even run by the Laurier Centre for Economic Research and Policy Analysis (LCERPA) in which a prominent economist visits the university’s Waterloo campus and gives a keynote address. The inaugural Economist-in-Residence event took place in 2014 and featured a visit by Carolyn Wilkins (Senior Deputy Governor, Bank of Canada).
This year, Laurier will welcome Dr. Jeffry Frieden, Professor of Government at Harvard University as our 2015 Economist-in-Residence. Dr. Frieden will visit Wilfrid Laurier on Tuesday November 10th 2015.
